The Surviving Art Podcast

Svet umetnosti je čaroben kraj, poln zapletenih pogovorov o nepospravljenih posteljah, namazanih stolih in pisoarjih, a zdi se, da nihče noče govoriti o tem, kako dejansko deluje. To želim spremeniti.

Torej, dobrodošli v Surviving Art, varnem mestu, kjer so sprožilne besede, kot sta varnost zaposlitve in pokojninski sklad, strogo prepovedane. Kar pa ni, je osmišljanje umetniškega trga; kako določiti ceno svojega dela, se približati galerijam in pridobiti razstave, pa tudi nasvete in strategije, kako svojo umetnost prodati neposredno zbirateljem in prenesti svoje ustvarjalno sporočilo.

Chatting with Oreet Ashrey about the art world

After a (too) long hiatus, we’re back with a conversation with performance and conceptual artist Oreet Ashrey, and we chatted about the art world, not being boxed up as an artist and how there actually was a time when being an artist was considered as being an affluent individual!
